FPIs extend selling

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 1292.15 crore into the secondary equity markets on 12 June 2018, as compared with net outflow of Rs 1104.11 crore on 11 June 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 1292.15 crore into the secondary equity markets on 12 June 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4086.23 crore and gross sales of Rs 5378.38 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 29.49 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 12 June 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 16373.65 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 12 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 14516.07 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 12 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
