Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday, March 13 said its buildings and factories vertical has bagged a ‘significant’ order from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Madurai, in Tamil Nadu.
The order is under the ministry of health and family welfare’s PMSSY division.

Additionally, some funds also pared their existing positions in PSUs like NHPC, Oil India and NALCO.

The shares of Kolkata-based Zinc Oxide manufacturer JG Chemicals made a disappointing debut at Dalal Street on Wednesday (March 13) as the stock was listed at ₹209, a discount of 5.43%, over its issue price of ₹221 apiece on the NSE. Similarly, the stock kicked-off its maiden trading session at BSE with a discount of 4.5% at ₹211 over the same issue price.
Ahead of its debut, shares of JG Chemicals were trading at a premium of ₹28 in the grey market, suggesting a listing gain of 12.67% against its issue price of ₹221 apiece.
Shares of IIFL Finance surged about 3% during the early trading session on Wednesday ahead of its meeting of the board of directors on Wednesday, March 13, to consider raising of funds. The non-banking finance company attempts to shore up capital days after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) barred it from offering gold loans.
The company’s board will consider raising funds through the issuance of a range of securities, including equity shares or convertible bonds or debentures or warrants, by way of rights issue, private placement, preferential issue or any other methods, it had said in an exchange filing earlier
